I don't know if anyone would still be watching me after being off the site for 3 years but hey, journals are for journaling right? So heres the update. I have stopped practicing to become a storyboard artist. I was getting a little disheartened and then my computer died so it was hard to go on. I still don't have a computer and I miss photoshop soooooooooo sooooooo much! But on the bright side the lack of technology have driven my to work on my printmaking skills and now my work is for sale in a real store. I don't make enough to live on but just having my work out there gives me the warm fuzzies on the inside. So expect a lot of prints and

Oh my, I guess I should update my journal. There no sense in still being bummed about not getting the job at nick working on PoM. I've got my sites set on Frederator studios (think Adventure Time, Fairly Odd Parents, and Fanboy and Chum Chum) They don't really have a position open but I've been e-mailing one of the producers who has said they do look at test storyboards. That being said, I'm working on storyboarding my own idea for an episode of Fanboy and Chum Chum. The process is taking much longer than I had anticipated. I have 112 drawings done and I imagine it'll take about 400 more to complete the board. For sanity reasons I won't post

I didn't get the job at Nick studios. The rejection letter was a bit on the positive side, for what it was, and I do feel like I should continue trying. I'll try again but at the moment I'm bummed. I've been living off of Penguins for weeks now and I feel a tad lost at the news. It was of course what I expected to happen, my education in art wasn't geared towards working in a professional studio and when giving a chance to do 'whatever' I tend to make a variety of things instead to focusing on something specific.
